Ulrichskirche und Gläserner Kreuzweg
Kostel
Popis
The Ulrichskirche church was built on a hill in Bad Erlach in the 13th century. However, it is assumed that monks settled here much earlier, as the church was mentioned as early as 987. The interior of the church has been renovated and a forest cemetery has been laid out around the church between the black pines since 1945. The entrance to the forest cemetery is formed by the Glass Way of the Cross. The path was decorated with Tiffany glass panels by Bad Erlach glass artist Alois Hammer based on designs by painter Christine Buchner. In the evenings, the glass Stations of the Cross are illuminated, creating a special atmosphere.
