The Venus of Eggendorf, a remarkable archaeological find, was discovered around 1930 by Josef Höbarth in the "Schwarze Erde" vineyard. Measuring 25 cm, the original is on display in the Höbarth Museum in Horn. Since 1999, a replica of the Venus of Eggendorf has adorned the village square in Eggendorf and has become a symbol of the village. A walk to the site where the Venus of Eggendorf was found is possible by following the "Venusweg" signpost. The Venus of Eggendorf offers a unique opportunity to experience the history and culture of the region up close.
