Schlesingerteich
Jezero ke koupání, Rybaření, Rybníky, jezera a toky
Popis
The Schlesingerteich pond is approx. 5.5 ha in size and was once used to float timber. The nearby lumberjack museum in the village (approx. 1 km away) documents the development of the lumberjack village of Bärnkopf. At the Schlesingerteich there is a sunbathing lawn (no entrance fee), WC, changing rooms, beach volleyball court, fitness trail and kiosk (open when swimming).
On the east side there is a natural camping site with WC, two covered wooden pavilions, barbecue area and spring water. Use is possible by prior arrangement: Tel.: 0677/64168093 or info@baernkopf.at, fee: € 7,- per person/night, € 8,- per vehicle/night.
The water quality makes the Schlesingerteich equally attractive for both ambitious fishermen and hobby anglers. No license required. Day tickets can be purchased at the Wackelstein restaurant, in the store and at the Bärnkopf municipal office (Tel.: 02874/8212).
