Hiking and Enjoying
On the path through the romantic Hölltal, you will experience a magnificent natural attraction - the Weitenbach rushes like in a gorge into the depths. Near the path are two natural monuments: the Devil's Wall directly at the federal road and north of it the Devil's Cauldrons at the stream bed. In Weinling, in good weather, you can enjoy the wonderful view of the Alpine foothills.
Sights
Schloss Pöggstall - in 2017 it was the venue of the Lower Austria state exhibition “Everything that is right” - houses a museum on legal history including the only “original” torture chamber and a documentary about the life and work of the artist Franz Traunfellner (reopening in late autumn 2020). The special exhibition “Schloss Pöggstall - between region and imperial court” in the barbican vividly tells about the eventful restoration, significant finds and astonishing stories about the castle lords. A 3D animation clearly shows how the Bergfried and later the castle grew from its original layout to its current form.
Besides Schloss Pöggstall with its barbican, also worth seeing are the very old St. Anna church in the field (1140), the parish church Pöggstall and the pilgrimage church in Neukirchen (1118) at the Ostrong, which as a pilgrimage church is older than Maria Taferl.

Popis trasy Hölltal path - Pöggstall - Würnsdorf - Weinling, No. 69
Start: Schloss Pöggstall via the bike and pedestrian path or via the Bachwiesenweg to Dietsam. At the Jungwirth workshop, the path coming from the village house Würnsdorf meets, then turn right uphill into Siedlungsstraße towards Kienberg. If we start from the village house Würnsdorf, we keep right crossing the Weitenbach towards Pöggstall. In Neu Dietsam, turning sharply left, we hike the road further uphill. At the last house on the right, over the meadow, we soon see a forest path. Following this up the Kienberg, we soon hear the roaring of the Weitenbach in the Hölltal. Now we follow the path through the romantic Hölltal. At the federal road, we turn left - caution road traffic - and go a few meters downhill. Soon a forest road leads upwards. We continue until the road leads up to Weinling, then we hike straight down the forest path, come up the opposite slope to Bergern, and soon see down towards Würnsdorf, which we soon reach via a meadow and forest path.
