Popis trasy Biberbach Chapel Path Großmayr

The Kapellenweg Großmayr is an extension of the Kapellenweg Lammerhuberblick and leads from Biberbach along this route to the (24) Memorial Stone Lammerhuberblick: On the Kapellenweg Lammerhuberblick (or the "Lammerhuber-Blick-Weg") we leave the village at the main intersection heading south to the four-sided farm "Wiesmühle" with the (20) Wiesmühle wayside cross. Here we turn right and walk along the edge of the Biberbach stream, crossing a bridge to the four-sided farm "Kautzhof". Upon reaching the (21) Kautzhof chapel, we turn left and walk along the L 6206 for about 200m, then right on the L 6207 to the hamlet "Kaltaigen", passing the (22) Kaltaigen chapel shrine. From here we ascend to the left to the 502m high Gehartsberg with the (23) Gehartsberg chapel shrine and continue to the (24) Karl-Lammerhuber-Blick with memorial stone. From here we enjoy a wonderful view of Biberbach and the gentle hilly landscape with its many fruit trees and four-sided farms.

Here we turn right and head south past the (28) wayside cross and the (28a) Ort chapel to the hamlet "Gansberg" in the Seitenstetten municipal area, where we are rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view. Opposite the four-sided farm "Röckling" we encounter the (29) Röckling wayside cross and finally reach the road junction with the (30) Großmayr chapel. The route follows the road eastward past the four-sided farm "Großmayr" to the road junction, where we turn left past the (31) Kumerlehen wayside cross.

From here we walk downhill along fruit trees and pass the (32) Unterbartl chapel. At the driveway to Oberangerhof stands the (33) Oberangerhof chapel shrine, and in the meadow below the right curve is the (34) Oberangerhof wayside cross. Having reached the bottom, we turn right onto the L 6189 and follow the road uphill past the (35) Neubauer wayside cross to the intersection in "Kleingassen". Here we turn left northwards and hike past the three Kleingassen crosses: (36) Kampner wayside cross, (37) Kleingassen wayside cross, and (38) Hinterberg wayside cross. From the hamlet "Moselberg" we use the last section of the Kapellenweg Krausenöd to return to the starting point in the village center: After a short time we reach the (18) Brandhof chapel, one of the largest chapels in Biberbach, dedicated to the Holy Trinity. We continue downhill past "Pimshof" to the hamlet "Edlach", where we turn right to the (19) Edlach chapel. After the next four-sided farm, the route turns left over a paved driveway and through the settlement back to the starting point in the village center.
