Popis
The Parkfried chapel path is the shortest of the 6 chapel paths in Biberbach and runs on flat terrain around Biberbach. It is therefore ideal for families. The path leads along old rows of fruit trees over meadow paths and local roads. The highlight of this chapel path is the largest chapel in Biberbach, located at the square farmstead in Parkfried. On the return, you pass the rest and meeting place "Biberb(e)ach" which invites you to linger.

(1) Berndl wayside cross
(2) Graberhäusel wayside cross
(3) Kumpfmühle wayside cross

Popis trasy Biberbach chapel path Parkfried
From the starting point at the village square below the church, we cross the main intersection heading west past the (1) Berndl wayside cross and follow the L 6204 just outside the town. After the (2) Graberhäusel wayside cross, we turn right and walk along a meadow path (see also the sign "454 Mostviertler Circular Route") towards the square farmyard "Thalbauer". Here the route continues north past the (3) Kumpfmühle wayside cross over the Biberbach and crosses the L 6189 further towards the hamlet "Parkfried", where the (4) chapel and the (5) wayside shrine Parkfried invite you to pause. Diagonally opposite the wayside shrine, the path continues east over meadows. At the end of the meadow path, we turn right, back towards Biberbach, passing the (6) Pyhra wayside cross, the football field, the tennis court, and the municipal cemetery. In front of the parsonage with the (7) cross in the parsonage garden, the path turns left and leads back to the starting point in the village center.
