Popis trasy Biberbach chapel route Lammerhuberblick
On the Lammerhuberblick chapel route (or the "Lammerhuber-Blick-Weg"), we leave the village at the main intersection heading south to the four-sided farm "Wiesmühle" with the (20) Wiesmühle wayside cross. Here we turn right and walk along the edge of the Biberbach stream over a bridge to the four-sided farm "Kautzhof." Upon reaching the (21) Kautzhof chapel, we turn left and walk along L 6206 for about 200 m, then right onto L 6207 to the hamlet "Kaltaigen," passing the (22) Kaltaigen chapel shrine. From here, we go uphill to the left to the 502 m high Gehartsberg with the (23) Gehartsberg chapel shrine and continue to the (24) Karl-Lammerhuber viewpoint with memorial stone. From here, we enjoy a magnificent view of Biberbach and the gentle hilly landscape with its many fruit trees and four-sided farms. The hiking trail then descends steeply to the left over the Kleeberg farm road, past the carved (25) Obergrübl tree trunk Madonna, back down into the "Graben" with the Biberbach stream. From the Lammerhuberblick, we also follow the signs of the pilgrimage trail from Seitenstetten to Sonntagberg, which follows the same route up to the hamlet "Moselberg." In the "Graben" we cross L 6189 to the "Brandhof farm road," uphill towards the hamlet "Riedl." Here, the (26) Mitterriedl chapel invites you to pause. The path continues to climb toward the hamlet "Moselberg" with the (27) Moselberg chapel shrine, which stands exactly at the road junction. Here we turn left heading north and follow the last section of the Krausenöd chapel route back to Biberbach: After a short time, we reach the (18) Brandhof chapel, one of the largest chapels in Biberbach, dedicated to the Holy Trinity. We continue downhill past the "Pimshof" to the hamlet "Edlach," where we turn right to the (19) Edlach chapel. After the next four-sided farm, the route leads left over a paved driveway and through the settlement back to the starting point in the village center.
