Naturpark Dobersberg

With its idyllic landscape along the gently meandering Thaya river, the Dobersberg Nature Park in the northern Waldviertel invites you to relax and unwind. The 200-hectare nature reserve inspires with its diverse flora and fauna, the hillside forests around the Lorelei rock and quiet places of power and meditation. The picturesque River Thaya forms the heart of the nature park and is ideal for relaxing walks and meditative moments by the water. Around 15 kilometers of signposted hiking trails lead through the nature park, including the forest nature trail, the nature park circuit with its dowsing route and the "Arena Geomantica" with its energetic stone circle. From the rock pond, the highest point of the park, there is an impressive panoramic view over the Thayatal.

In the game enclosure, visitors can observe fallow deer, sheep and goats, while butterfly meadows, a wild boar enclosure, pheasant aviaries and the bee museum bring the biodiversity of the Waldviertel region to life. Particularly impressive is the Lorelei Rock, a striking natural monument above the Thaya, which creates a magical atmosphere at sunset.
